The movie encompasses the book written by Anne Frank and we are taken along on her journey. We get to see the struggles she has faced first hand. Her story is very moving and makes me tear up. Anne and her family go into hiding and they live up in an attic with another family. Anne lives there for two years until they are captured and brought to the camps. Only her father survives after staying at one of the camps.
I could not even imagine what it would be like living up there for so long. Anne had to go to school up there also. She could not leave or she could have gotten captured. Anne also had nightmares and was very fearful. Witnessing her story made see her feelings and emotions that she felt though this horrible time in her life.
